A miserable-looking man sat staring at the drink he had just ordered. Suddenly, a troublemaking driver barged over and drank it. The man immediately burst into loud sobs.

Feeling guilty, the driver said, "Come on, I was only having a little fun. I'll buy you another drink. I can't stand seeing a man cry."

"It isn't that. You have no idea what a terrible day I've had. First, I overslept and was late for work. My boss flew into a rage and fired me on the spot."

"Then, when I left that damned building, my car was gone. The police couldn't help. I took a taxi home, and after it drove away, I realized I'd left all my belongings in it."

"I thought I'd rest at home, but can you believe it? I found my wife in bed with the gardener. And that wasn't even the worst of it. I came here to end my life... and then you turned up and drank the poisoned drink."
