Trong một cuộc hội thảo về hoa thế giới có 3 nước là: Hoa kỳ, Hà Lan và Việt Nam .Khi được giới thiệu về loài hoa đặc trưng của nước mình thì 3 nước giới thiệu như sau:
Mỹ nói rằng:”nước chúng tôi có hoa hồng là đẹp nhất”
Hà Lan lên tiếng: “Chỉ đáng để chùi đít”
Việt Nam hưởng ứng: “Đúng thế”
Sau đó HL nói tiếp: “Nước chúng tôi có hoa tuylip là đẹp nhất”
VN lại nói: “cũng chỉ đáng để chùi đít”
Lúc này HL và HK bực tức: “Nước bạn có hoa gì mà lại bảo hoa chung tôi chi đáng để chùi đít hả?”
VN ung dung trả lời: “Nước tôi có hoa xương rồng là đẹp nhất”

Flowers
At an international flower conference, representatives from the United States, the Netherlands, and Vietnam introduced their countries' finest flowers.
The American said, "Our roses are the most beautiful."
The Dutch representative said, "Only good for wiping your backside!"
"Exactly," the Vietnamese representative agreed.
The Dutch representative continued, "Our tulips are the most beautiful."
"Also only good for wiping your backside," said the Vietnamese representative.
Annoyed, the other two asked, "What flowers do you have that make you dismiss ours like that?"
He replied calmly, "Our cactus flowers are the most beautiful."
