There was an ugly, dark-skinned demon who was clever and full of tricks, but never happy with his appearance. Women always avoided him.

One day, he saw someone standing in the street, stripped of everything except a loincloth. Looking closer, he exclaimed, "Why, it's the genie! Hello! Why are you standing here alone? Where are your clothes?"

The genie was not ugly, but possession of his lamp made people greedy and selfish. At the demon's question, he began to cry. "Some scrap-metal thieves took all my things! Now all I've got left is..."

"Why don't you magic up some new clothes?"

"I can't. I can only use magic for other people, not for myself."

Seeing his chance, the demon asked, "If I bring you new clothes, will you grant me three wishes?" The genie hesitated but finally agreed.

The demon brought the clothes. Once dressed, the genie said, "Now make your wishes."

Delighted, the demon wanted to become an angel, but feared being laughed at if he said so directly. Instead, he hinted:

"First, I want wings. Second, I want to be pure white. Third, I want to be around women all the time."

In a flash, the demon turned into... a Kotex sanitary pad.
