Two Ghosts
Two ghosts happened to meet in a cemetery.
Ghost One: "You look clueless. Newly dead?"
Ghost Two: "Yes, the day before yesterday."
Ghost One: "Then we died on the same day. What happened to you?"
Ghost Two: "I froze to death. At first my hands and feet stiffened and hurt terribly, then I drifted off. A peaceful way to go, really. What about you?"
Ghost One: "My wife was cheating on me."
Ghost Two: "Why would her affair kill you?"
Ghost One: "I knew she was cheating, so I pretended to leave on a business trip and came home unexpectedly. There she was, naked in bed. Furious, I searched for her lover. He wasn't in the attic or the storeroom. I was about to search the bathroom when I got so exhausted that I had a heart attack and dropped dead."
Ghost Two: "What's your wife's name?"
Ghost One: "$%#@$#%$#"
At that, Ghost Two attacked Ghost One, shouting between blows, "You idiot! Why didn't you check the refrigerator first? If you had, neither of us would be dead!"
