A man went shopping for gloves for his girlfriend and took her younger sister along for advice. While he bought the gloves, the sister bought a pair of panties. The saleswoman mixed up the packages, giving the gloves to the sister and the panties to the man.

Unaware of the mix-up, he sent his girlfriend the package with this letter:

My darling,

Since I've noticed that you never wear these when you go out with me, I've bought you some. I wanted to choose the most suitable ones, so I asked your sister to help. She has some lovely ones, and I know you both take the same size.

The saleswoman showed me a new style that would keep you very warm, with a zipper to open it. But when she demonstrated it, the lining got caught in the zipper, so I chose the kind without one.

I made your sister try them on in front of me. After a minute, she took them off and let me smell the inside. Only after checking that they weren't damp or smelly did I decide to buy them.

I hope that next time we meet, I'll be able to put them on you myself. Once you're wearing them, hold them out so I can plant a loving kiss on them.
